Transaction Limitations
Federal regulations require banks to limit the manner in which WITHDRAWALS may be made from a savings account. Pre-authorized (telephone, transfer, wire transfers, SOP, automatic payment, check) withdrawals are limited to a combined total of 6 per month. On Money Market investment Accounts, federal regulations allow three of these six transactions to be check withdrawals. There is a $10 service charge for each pre-authorized savings withdrawal over six during a month. If account limitations are continuously exceeded the account will be closed.
